In mining and heavy industry, silence can be dangerous, whether it’s underground or in our conversations. That’s why Crawford Boots, in collaboration with Dirty Hole Designs, is proud to once again champion the “Stomp Out the Stigma” campaign for 2025.
After a hugely successful launch in 2024, where campaign flags flew high across mine sites, workshops and lunchrooms around the country, we’ve continued the momentum into 2025. This campaign is about more than numbers, it’s about people. It’s about starting real conversations and breaking down the stigma that still surrounds mental health in our industry.
This year, we’re continuing to push that message by encouraging crews and companies to “Zip Up Your Boots and Stomp Out the Stigma.” The striking campaign flag, designed by Poz at Dirty Hole Designs, has returned for another round and is being proudly displayed on-site by teams across the industry.
Throughout June, Crawford Boots donated $5 from every pair sold directly to the cause. But the campaign doesn’t stop there. The conversation continues, and so does the opportunity to make a difference.
We want to extend a massive thank you to every individual, crew and business who took part in this year’s campaign. Whether you raised the flag, posted a photo, talked to your crew, or simply wore your boots with purpose, you made a real impact. Your efforts help create safer, more supportive environments in an industry where mental health can often go unspoken.
Want to keep the conversation going?
We’ve still got flags available—and we’re still accepting donations on our official Black Dog Institute fundraising page. If you missed out during June, it’s not too late to get involved. Raise the flag, wear the boots, start the conversation.
Together, we can stomp even harder in 2025.
